The Baltimore Section of the IEEE is conducting a survey to determine the level of interest in establishing a local consultant's network. This would be organised as an Affinity Group following the IEEE guidelines. The primary focus of the group would be to facilitate peer networking. It would also provide a central focus for publicising the capabilities of the members. There is also the possibility of providing services to appropriate organizations in the area, such as speakers or technology group leaders.
